Hello. I'm Molly, founder and owner of Starry Night Creations and ScrapnTime.com, and this is my family. This is also the reason I scrapbook ~ for the moments big and small, momentous and silly, holidays, vacations and everything in between. Scrapbooking is my creative outlet and it's a way to build friendships. I'm not an artist, but I want to preserve these moments and memories. I want to show my kids what they were like, what we did and what makes us a family instead of just telling them about it. And, I want to help you preserve all of the moments and memories in your life.

   I started Starry Night Creations in 2000 because I had an idea for a template - AlphaDoodles. While I had some success with selling them to stores, I realized that I had more fun and preferred dealing directly with scrapbookers. The company evolved and I branched into organizing scrapbook retreats and partnered with a friend. We had a difficult time finding stores to bring supplies to the retreat, so I started stocking the basics and my inventory grew. I started ScrapnTime.com as another venue for selling my inventory. While I had started with big plans and a web designer, I realized my designer wasn't overly reliable and I had problems getting my website to the point I was happy with. So after struggling with learning HTML and updating the website myself, I finally switched shopping carts and found a website design that I can update and manage myself - OK, I still get some help - Thanks, Ron. But here it is, my website done my way. No, it's not perfect, but it's mine and I'm thrilled to share it with you.

   Somewhere in all of this, I also decided to start a monthly scrapbook kit. After having been a member of several monthly clubs and finding something wrong with each one - too expensive, papers start looking the same, only getting one of each patterned paper, lack layout ideas, etc., I created my own. I scrapbook in two-page spreads - most of the time, have a clean, classic style and I have way too many photos to only put one or two photos on a page. I believe my record is 23 photos on a 2-page spread, but who's counting?!? I have my scrapbook comfort zone, but I also like to occasionally overstep my boundaries. I also like using a variety of products and embellishments from many different companies. This is the basis of Starry Night Kits. Two-page layouts that are easily modified to single-page layouts. Most kits contain 2 of each paper and a combination of both patterned papers and cardstock or solid-colored papers. Product from a variety of companys and styles. And every now and then, I throw in something different - a project or a chipboard album. Something to keep it interesting, fresh and fun. But I also put you in charge - skip the kits you don't want, cancel anytime. There's no commitment except my commitment to bring you the latest scrapbook supplies, coordinated embellishments and fresh ideas. It's like having your own personal shopper! 

   OK, so I digress. But I love scrapbooking and I love sharing it with others and that is the foundation of Starry Night Creations and ScrapnTime.com. Scrapbooking is more than paper and stickers. It's a creative outlet, a way to build friendships and when my daughter asks me what she was like as a baby, I can show her.
